The all-new SM5 helmet is the result of more than five years of intensive research, development, and testing. We have meticulously examined every possible aspect to engineer a helmet that is not only safe but also thoughtfully designed to deliver optimal protection and comfort. This lightweight helmet features a thermo-injected shell made from a special polymer blend, with varying degrees of thickness engineered to provide the optimal combination of impact protection and lightweight construction. The five-density EPS liner ensures the correct density in the appropriate areas for enhanced impact absorption.

Other key design features include an engineered raised area with padding to effectively reduce the forces transmitted to the collarbone, and a patented visor release system that ensures the visor is released with the correct pre-determined amount of force, regardless of the angle of impact. The side shell, coupled with soft EPS foam, prevents damage to the collarbone in the event of a crash.

The helmet also features an emergency release system and removable cheek pads, allowing for the safe and easy removal of the cheek pads while the helmet is still on. The 3D contoured foam ensures rider comfort. The removable comfort liner is made with Silverplus treated anti-bacterial fabrics, providing excellent moisture-wicking properties to effectively draw perspiration away from the skin.

The anti-microbial liner is removable and washable, and the helmet's cheek pads are integrated with hydration tube channels for convenience and performance. The soft textile chin strap is 26mm wide, which is wider than certification requirements, ensuring optimal safety and rider comfort.
